Where do I start? Jon is very experienced, friendly, hard working, and attentive. He remembers what you say you want, and doesn't waste your time with houses you won't want to see. Rather than relate my opinion, let me tell my story. My elderly Mother-In-Law wanted a home in Diamondhead, but it wasn't just any home. She was moving from a million dollar home in Florida, and wanted to downsize but retain the quality of her former lifestyle. There are not a lot of smaller homes with those types of upgrades. Combine that with needing a home with no second floor and outside the flood zones, and we had a problem. After a few months of looking, Jon called us about a house that was listed just three hours earlier. I kid you not, he's that good. We ran out to view the place and immediately bought the house. On closing, the listing agent told us how lucky we were, because she had three clients that were interested but just didn't move as fast as Jon. That's the story folks, we definitely would not have gotten our dream home without Jon. Jon is a gunslinger, quick, accurate and deadly. Your future is very safe in his hands.

When I decided to move to South Mississippi, I called a very good friend who is a resident of Diamondhead and she said I had to call Jon Ritten.
From our first conversation, I knew he was going to be the perfect choice. Jon and I visited over the phone and he listened to my “must haves”, my budget and what I was looking for in a “community. Jon sent me 50 possible properties, we narrowed my search to 10 and, within a week, I traveled to Gulfport/Diamondhead to view all of them in one day. Jon cleared his schedule to meet my needs.
I met Jon and immediately knew I was in great hands.
After viewing my top 10, I knew when I found the right one and, by the end of that same day, I made my offer.
As a first time home owner, and, at the ripe old age of 66, this was big deal for me and Jon took my journey very seriously.
Over the next three weeks, Jon was my partner, recommending the best home insurer, finance company, inspector, home concierge, etc., and put me in touch with water/sewer, power company and all of the various vendors I needed in advance of my closing. Most important he guided me through the negotiation of my offer with the seller and came to the best deal for me and my budget. We spoke long distance at least 50 times and, I have to say, every time he was extremely responsive, positive and was more of a friend than a contractor or vendor.
Within three weeks of contacting Jon, we went to closing (which was seamless!) and three days later, I moved from Atlanta to my dream home in Diamondhead.
Jon is amazing and I am beyond grateful to my friend for recommending him. Who knew buying a new home could be this easy and wonderful!
